St. Mary’s is committed to preserving the rich tradition of education that began over 160 years ago. We are a school community which fosters the growth and formation of each student, both in the classroom and in life. We believe in living out our mission statement to, “inspire a lifelong love of God and service to neighbor.”
Our goal is to provide a high-quality education, rooted in tradition, with both new and proven learning approaches and implementation of technology that is a necessity in the 21st century classroom. Our primary objective is meeting the learning needs of each one of our students, (prek-3 through 8th grade) preparing them for the world they will be entering when they leave St. Mary’s and enter high school.
Our school provides an excellent learning environment and a devoted team of professional and nurturing staff to foster each child’s education and walk with Christ, along with a very supportive parent community.
If you’re interested in seeing what St. Mary’s has to offer your child and your family, please email Susan Nixon, Campus Registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope you will consider joining the Apache family.
To inspire a lifelong long of God and service to neighbor.
St. Mary's Catholic School boasts a tradition of excellence in the classroom. At the junior high level, we offer 3 high school credit courses: Algebra 1, Spanish 1, and Speech for our 8th-grade students who meet the requirements. Consistently over the past decade, SMS alumni graduate in the top 10% of their high school graduating class oftentimes ranking as the Valedictorian or Salutatorian.
Upon entering the school, religious statues, Catholic images and our Mission Statement can readily be found. Every classroom has a Prayer Table adorned with rosaries, prayer cards, and bibles. Students, teachers, and staff attend school-wide Mass once a week. Religion Classes attend Adoration once a week. All grade levels participate in service projects regularly. At least once a quarter, the school hosts a school-wide rosary. Theology of the Body curriculum is incorporated into Religion lessons. Thank you notes are written to businesses and hand-delivered during Catholic Schools Week.
